"I was referred to the TMJ Clinic by my Dentist and was reluctant to go. When I made the appointment and heard the cost I decided I would not have the treatment. As a Deputy (Police Officer) I deal with a lot of stress on the job and did not know the clicking sound in my jaw while I ate was anything major. I lived with it for years I could live with it more. Then during Arrest Techniques Recertification my jaw started to hurt a great deal so I called and made the appointment. Because of the stress I was on Paxil for depression.
