   Dr. Dwight Romriell is married to Denise Romriell. They have six grown children four of which are also health care providers. Together they have more than a dozen “perfect” grandchildren. Dwight graduated from Pocatello’s Highland High school in1966 and received a bachelors degree from Idaho State University in 1972. Dr Romriell earned his doctorate degree (DMD) from the University of Louisville Kentucky in 1976 and has practiced general dentistry in the Pocatello area up until 2003 when he opened

THE TMJ CENTER.

    Opening the center has changed many lives and continues to touch many others. This team and its facility have brought to the region complex motion tomography x-rays and assembled in one location the state of the art equipment, skills, and experience necessary to provide expert care for those in need of their service. This new x-ray technology is not available anywhere else in the region and has proven valuable in diagnosing injuries and arthritis of the jaw joint. Dr. Romriell is one of two doctors in the state of Idaho to have a limited their practice to the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ conditions. Dr. Romriell has treated hundreds of TMJ patients over the past 30 years, and a few of the many testimonials are available on this web site. Dr Romriell has received thousands of hours training specifically in the TMJ field and has instructed scores other doctors on numerous occasions over the years in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ. In addition to practicing all aspect of general dentistry for the past 30 years Dr. Romriell is certified in neuromuscular dentistry which include electromyography (EMG), computerized jaw tracking (EGN), joint vibration analysis (JVA), and computerized bite analysis (T-Scan). Other areas of certification include proliferative joint therapy, trigger point therapy, and complex motion tomography.

   Dr. Romriell trained at Texas A & M in Collision Reconstruction for the Medical Practitioner. A portion of the training included planning, staging, and carrying out auto collisions. Each of the wrecks which were recorded using high speed film as well as other electronic recording media. After the collisions were carried out a comparison was made of the expected outcome with the actual outcome of each collision. Dr. Romriell’s assignment in the staged collisions was to interview each of the drivers and “victims” of the collisions immediately following the collision and again one hour after the collision. . Memberships Dr. Dwight Romriell is a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Idaho Dental Association and has served twice as the Idaho section leader of the Pierre Fauchard Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Romriell enjoys restoring patient's health, water skiing, snow skiing, reading, golfing, and outdoor activates he experienced while earning his Eagle Scout award. Most of all Dwight enjoys being with his family and boating at their family cabin. When golfing he carries a compass that he won in a golf tournament while training at the University of Louisville Kentucky.
